Our role in conserving the earth’s environment

제주특별자치도에서는 ‘2014 국제 사이버 청소년 환경 포럼’에 참여할 청소년 및 청년을 모집합니다.본 환경 포럼은 국내외 청소년 및 청년들이 지구환경보전에 대해 고민하고 실제적인 해결방안을 제시, 토론하는 사이버 포럼입니다. 포럼에 참여하고자 하는 국내외 청소년 및 청년들을 아래와 같이 모집하오니 많은 참여 바랍니다.

Jeju Special Self-Governing province is recruiting participants for the 2014 International Youth Cyber Environmental Forum. This is an internet online forum for teenagers and young adults to discuss and find solutions for the earth’s environmental conservation.

◈참가 대상자 : 만 9세 이상 24세 미만인 청소년

◈Target participants : Ages 9 to 24

◈운영 언어 : 한국어 및 영어

◈참여 방법 :

◈How to participate :

1) 제주위클리(www.jejuweekly.com)에서 신청서를 다운로드 받아 제안서(발표 동영상 포함)를 제출한 후, 사이버 포럼 개최시 댓글로 토론에 참여한다.

1) Download the application form at www.jejuweekly.com and submit the form and a proposal including a presentation video by July 31.

2) 2인 이상 팀을 만들어 1개의 제안서를 제출한다.

2) Teams must have more than two members and one proposal should be submitted per team.

◈상금수여 방식 및 내역 : 수상작을 선정하여 소정의 상금을 지급, 환경부 장관상 120만원, 제주특별자치도지사상 100만원, 제주위클리상 80만원.

* 제안서 내용에 대한 발표 동영상 첨부시 추가 배점이 부여됩니다.

◈Team prizes :

Award from Ministry of Environment, S. Korea: 120 mil. Korean won (1,200 US dollars)

Governor Award from Jeju Special Self-governing Province: 100mil. Korean won (1,000 US dollars)

Newspaper Award from The Jeju Weekly: 80mil. Korean won (800 US dollars)

◈제안서 제출 1차 기한 : 7월 31일, 23시까지

※ 제출된 제안서는 돌려드리지 않습니다.

◈ Proposal submission deadline: 11 p.m. July 31

- Submitted proposals will not be returned

◈사이버 포럼 기간 : 9/10~10/10일

◈Cyber forum period : Sept. 10 to Oct. 10

◈제안서 양식 및 제출 방법 :

1) 제주위클리 웹사이트(www.jejuweekly.com)를 방문하여, '2014 국제 사이버 청소년 환경포럼 배너'를 클릭하여 신청서를 다운로드 받아 작성합니다.

2) 제안서 파일, 발표 동영상은 메일로 접수를 받고 사이버 포럼 도메인에 관리자가 등록합니다.(* 사이버 포럼 웹사이트 도메인 :http://youth.encynet.org)

3) 제안서는 서론, 본론 및 결론의 형태로 작성하되 창의적이고 실제적인 방안을 제시한다.

4) A4용지 5장 내외(글자크기 12포인트) 워드 또는 한글 프로그램으로 작성하여 제출한다.

5) 제안서 언어 : 한국어 또는 영어 (한국어로 제안서를 작성할 경우 제안 내용을 영문으로 간략하게 요점 정리(A4용지 1장 이내)하여 첨부한다.)

6) 신청서, 제안서, 발표 동영상을 이메일(happyjamie34@gmail.com) 로 발송한다.

◈Proposal form and submission method :

1) Visit www.jejuweekly.com, find the banner on the main page. Click and down load the application form.

2) Send your proposal and video presentation file by email. After review, it will be posted on the cyber forum website to share with the other participants. (http://youth.encynet.org) Additional information may be requested regarding your proposal.(See the detailed schedule of the forum below.)

3) Proposals must be structured with an introduction, body and conclusion and should propose creative and pratical solutions

4) Proposals must be printed as A4 word documents on no more than five pages.

5) Proposal language : Korean or English. (If it is in Korean, a summary in English should be attached on one page of A4)

◈ 제안서 심사 기준 :

- 배 점 : 전문가(70%), 댓글, 자료게시 등 사이버 활동율(30%)

- 평가항목 : 주제의 부합성, 제안서의 효용성, 제안서에 대한 팀별 사이버 활동율 등  ※ 발표 동영상 제출시 가점 부여

◈ Proposal evaluation standards

- Scoring : 70% from the professional, 30% from the cyber discussion activity

- Evaluation areas : Compatibility, utility,  online activity and others

◈ 2014 국제 청소년 사이버 환경 포럼 대주제 :"지구환경을 위한 우리의 역할과 대안"

***사회 부문

1)한국인의 음식문화가 환경에 미치는 영향과 개선책

2) 학교생활을 통해 환경보전에 기여할 수 있는 방법

***Social section :

 1) The influence of Korean food culture to environment and its solution

 2) The method to contribute on environmental conservation through school life

***정책 부문

3) 쓰레기를 줄이고 재활용을 늘릴 수 있는 방안

4) 기후변화가 인류와 야생에 미치는 영향과 대응책

***Policy section :

3) How to reduce waste and increase recyles.

4) Influence of climate change to human and wild lives and its solution

***심층 부문

5) 탄소배출량거래(ETS)의 성공을 위한 제안

6) 생태계가 인류에게 주는 서비스(ecosystem service)를 지속시킬 수 있는 전략

****Professional section :

5) Proposal to succeed ETS(Emission Trading System)

6) Strategy to sustain the ecosystem service

◈사이버 포럼 진행 일정 :

* Cyber forum schedule :

1. 각 팀의 제안서1차 온라인 제출 (~7/31일까지)

1. Submission proposals by Jul. 31

2. 제안서의 추가 요청 또는 감수 (~8/30일까지)

2. Request additional contents to the proposers and conduct supervision by Aug. 30

3. 완료된 제안서의 사이버상 게시기간 (9/1~9/10일까지)

3. Posting submitted proposals on the website by Sep. 10

4. 사이버 포럼 개최 및 토론 기간 (9/10~10/10일까지)

4. Cyber forum opening and discussion period by Oct. 10

5. 제안서 평가 기간 (~10/20일까지)

5. Evaluation the discussion on the forum by Oct. 20

6. 평가 결과 발표 및 시상 (~10/25일)

6. Result announcement and award by Oct. 25.
